Positive: I recently had the pleasure of staying at Rapti Inn in Gorakhpur, and it truly exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I checked in, it felt less like a hotel and more like arriving at a relative's home ,comfortable, welcoming, and genuinely caring. The room was surprisingly spacious, much larger than what I had anticipated for the price range. It was well-maintained, airy, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. What impressed me most was the bathroom spotlessly clean, with a hygienic band still sealed on the toilet commode, showing real attention to cleanliness and guest hygiene. In many places, this small detail is overlooked, but here it was handled perfectly. The food was another highlight. The meals were simple yet delicious and homely . paneer, fresh roti, chawal, tadka dal, and gulab jamun for dessert. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful; I genuinely enjoyed every bite and felt satisfied without any heaviness. It reminded me of home-cooked Indian food rather than typical hotel fare. The staff deserves special mention. They were exceptionally friendly, always smiling (hasmukh), and went out of their way to make conversations feel natural and enjoyable. I actually sat and chatted with them for a while something that rarely happens in bigger hotels and it added a personal touch to the entire experience. One small incident showed their level of service: during dinner, a little dal accidentally spilled on my bedsheet. I felt embarrassed and even apologized, but the manager himself immediately arranged for the sheet to be changed without any fuss or delay. No lectures, no attitude ,just quick, polite action. That kind of responsiveness is rare and speaks volumes about their commitment to guest comfort. Overall, Rapti Inn gave me that rare "ghar jaisi feeling" , the comfort and warmth of being at home while traveling.
